3 Days Tour:

Day1: Angkor Wat Temple Small Circuit

After pick up from airport or from your accomodation in Siem Reap, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm temple, nearly disappeared into the jungle and which remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever.

Continue to visit the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. The 54-tower temple of City & Bayon is an awesome sight. Bayon is not the Angkor Wat but the relief is actually telling your more history of Angkorean Civilization than any other temples ( Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda ). The conflict between Cham, Siemese, Cambodian or even Chinese has been told through the relief at this temple.

Lunch at local restaurant; after lunch visit the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lepper King Terrace and Royal Place area.

Keep exploring the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.

Day2: Banteay Srei & Angkor Grand Circuit Tour

After your breakfast I’ll meet you at your accommodation and will take you to visit Banteay Srei, 37km northeast of Siem Reap. Built of fine-grained rose-pink sandstone, it’s the most elaborately decorated of all Angkor’s monuments, its walls, false doors, lintels and exotic soaring pediments all richly embellished with floral motifs and Ramayana scenes. Comprising just a single level, it’s positively diminutive compared with the region’s state-temples.

After discover Banteay Srei on the way back we will stop at Akira land mine museum, while more than a few tourists coming to Cambodia are concerned about these mines, the land mines also exist as a curiosity to the traveler.

Continue to Srah Srang where will have lunch in local restaurant either Khmer and Western foods with the beautiful royal pool view in front, finished lunch we embark to visit temples in Grand Circuit Tour. The Grand Circuit is actually an extension of the Small Circuit and runs through to the Preah Rup, Ta Som, Eastern Mebon, Preah Neak Pean, and Preah Khan temple. Back to hotel and tour end!

Day3: Kulen Mountain Waterfall

If you have explored the vast temple complex of Angkor Wat, now it is time to see where it all began. On this full day tour from Siem Reap you will head out to the Kulen Mountains, an isolated mountain massif in the Svay Leu District.

Located about 30 miles (50 kilometers) from Siem Reap, you will drive through a lush landscape of paddy fields and remote villages to the National Park.

Widely regarded as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, it dates back to the 9th-Century and is thought to be where Jayavanman II initiated the cult of the Shiva Linga and declared independence from Java in 802 AD.

Declaring a unified Khmer Empire under a single ruler, it began what later would be known as the Angkor period, although the capital city would not be moved for another century.

You will explore several ruins, including the carvings of Yoni and Linga etched into the sandstone riverbed and the stone representation of the Hindu god Vishnu lying on his serpent Ananta, with his wife Lakshmi at his feet.

Our guide will take you to the major sights and explain the history of the Khmer Empire, revealing some unique places along the way.

You will see pagodas and a beautiful waterfall at the end the river. Regarded by Cambodians as a sacred destination, you will get to soak up the atmosphere on the 7-hour day trip.

Wear comfortable shoes for the short hikes and remember to bring your swimming costume so that you can take a quick dip in the cool rock pools.

All entrance and permit fees are taken care of, along with round-trip transfers, and you will have a delicious lunch in the country before returning to Siem Reap in the early afternoon.
